Barb
Carman is a licensed Occupational Therapist and Certified Hand Therapist. She graduated with a Bachelors of Science in
Occupational Therapy from The Ohio State University in 1978. She received her designation as a Certified
Hand Therapist in 1992.
Barb
has over 40 years of experience treating clients of all ages in a variety of
settings including inpatient and outpatient rehabilitation, residential centers
for treatment of intellectual and developmental disabilities, skilled
nursing/long term care, home health, and orthopedics/sports medicine. She specializes in treatment of the hand,
wrist, forearm, and elbow, and has advanced training in splinting, dry needling,
and kinesiotaping. She has worked for
Wellington Orthopedics since 2005, and joined OrthoCincy in 2021. Her favorite part of being a hand therapist
is helping patients get back to doing what they enjoy.
Barb
is from Cincinnati, OH. She enjoys
exercising, traveling to the beach, and spending time with family.
