Dr. Hammad Malik is an Anesthesia and Pain Management physician with many years of experience in the field and a wide range of experience at medical facilities across the world.
Dr. Malik obtained his MBBS (Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery) from Allama Iqball College in Lahore, Pakistan. He then went on to have two internships – one in general surgery and the other in internal medicine – at two teaching facilities in Lahore. Dr. Malik completed his residency in anesthesiology at the University of Kentucky Medical Center in Lexington, Kentucky. He then completed his Fellowship in Pain Management at the University of Cincinnati Medical Center in Cincinnati, Ohio.
Dr. Malik has spent time as a professional cricket player at the national and international levels for Pakistan. He was also the Captain of the University of Kentucky’s Cricket Club. Dr. Malik, from Lahore, Pakistan, now resides in Kentucky. He speaks four languages (Hindi, Urdu, Punjabi and English). When not treating patients, he likes to travel, play Cricket for the USA All Stars Team and spend time with his “Sheepadoodle” (Old English Sheep Dog and Standard Poodle mix).
Dr. Malik treats patients at the OrthoCincy locations in Florence and Crestview Hills.
