Whitney
Quiambao is a licensed Occupational Therapist, Physical Therapist, and
Certified Hand Therapist. She graduated
with a Bachelors of Science in Occupational Therapy from Indiana University in
1997, and a Bachelors of Science and Masters of Science in Physical Therapy
from the University of Kentucky in 2000.
She received her designation as a Certified Hand Therapist in 2003, and
currently serves as the Hand Therapy Supervisor for our OrthoCincy hand therapy
locations which include West Chester, Kenwood, and Eastgate.
Whitney
has over 20 years of experience treating clients of all ages in a variety of
settings including inpatient and outpatient rehabilitation, skilled nursing/long
term care, pediatric burn rehabilitation, and orthopedics/sports medicine. She specializes in treatment of the hand,
wrist, forearm, and elbow, and has advanced training in splinting, dry
needling, and kinesiotaping. She has
worked with our Wellington physicians since 2006, and joined OrthoCincy in
2021. Her favorite part of being a hand
therapist is helping patients regain use of their hands/arms in order to return
to the activities they love.
Whitney
is originally from Louisville, KY, but now lives in Mariemont, OH. She enjoys running, cycling, traveling,
spending time with family, and watching her two children play their many
sports.
