Dr. Matthew T. DesJardins is board certified and fellowship trained in Sports Medicine. He specializes in nonsurgical treatment of orthopedic/athletic injuries, musculoskeletal ultrasound, spine care, and general orthopedics. He performs Interventional Spine Procedures (epidural steroid injections), and has a special interest in Regenerative Medicine; this aspect of Sports Medicine focuses on helping the body recover faster using techniques such as Platelet-Rich Plasma (PRP) injections and tendon fenestration (TENEX) type procedures. Matthew T. DesJardins serves as team physician for Northern Kentcuky University athletics. Dr. DesJardins sees patients at our Edgewood, Florence, and Highland Heights (NKU) locations.
