Cincinnati high school volleyball made a resounding statement this weekend, capturing three of the seven Ohio High School Athletic Association Division I state championships. Among the victorious teams, the Seton Saints emerged as the ultimate champions, securing their seventh state title with a decisive 3-0 sweep over Cleveland St. Joseph Academy.
The weekend’s success extended beyond Seton. St. Ursula Academy and Roger Bacon High School also claimed state titles, highlighting Cincinnati’s dominance in the sport. Even with early exits by Fenwick and Ursuline, the city’s strong showing was undeniable.
As Cincinnati continues to produce top-tier volleyball programs, the city’s dominance in the state is likely to persist for years to come.
