(per Evan Dennison/LINKnky) The Raiders (10-2) hit St. Xavier in the mouth and the Tigers didn’t even know what hit them, Ryle shooting out to a 38-3 halftime lead and sending shockwaves throughout the state with a 38-17 victory in the second round of the Class 6A playoffs.

The tone was set on the first play from scrimmage, when Jacob Savage took a run 80 yards to the end zone.

“Always great to start the game off well,” Savage said. “O-line gave me great blocking and just trusted my speed all the way to get there.”
