Dr. Angel Velazquez is board certified and fellowship trained in Sports Medicine. He specializes in nonsurgical treatment of orthopaedic/athletic injuries, musculoskeletal ultrasound, arthritis, and general orthopaedics. He has a special interest in Regenerative Medicine; this aspect of Sports Medicine focuses on helping the body recover faster using techniques such as Platelet-Rich Plasma (PRP) injections, and Stem Cell Therapy. He also has advanced training in musculoskeletal ultrasound, which he uses in the office to aid in diagnosing & treating orthopaedic problems. Dr. Velazquez sees patients at our Edgewood, Florence, and Highland Heights (NKU) locations.
