Arthur Lee, MD, is a
board-certified orthopaedic surgeon who specializes in total joint replacement,
sports medicine, and hip, knee, and shoulder treatments. He’s on the team of
elite physicians at OrthoCincy Orthopaedic & Sports Medicine and
sees patients at the Anderson, Eastgate and Mt. Auburn locations in Cincinnati.
When he was just 7 years
old, Dr. Lee announced to his mother that he was going to be a doctor, and he
turned that childhood dream into a reality. Dr. Lee graduated summa cum laude
with a Bachelor of Science from the University of Dayton before moving to
Cincinnati to attend the University of Cincinnati, where he earned his medical
degree and completed an internship and residency in orthopaedic surgery.
Dr. Lee is renowned for his
skills in treating a wide range of patient problems, from simple fractures to
total joint replacement, and is well-versed in providing excellent and
comprehensive medical care, from pre-surgery all the way through postoperative
rehabilitation. His medical philosophy, however, is that surgery should be a
last resort, not the first option, and works in dialogue with his patients to
determine the best course of action in treating their ailments.
In addition to his work
with patients, Dr. Lee serves as a representative for the medical community. As
a diplomate with the American Board of Independent Medical Examiners, he serves
as an independent, expert medical authority in cases of litigation. Dr. Lee
also enjoys membership in the American Medical Association, American Academy of
Orthopaedic Surgeons, American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery, Academy of
Medicine of Cincinnati, and Ohio State Medical Association.
In his spare time, Dr. Lee
is an equestrian, Porsche enthusiast and enjoys spending time with his family.
He is incredibly proud of his sons both are following his footsteps pursuing
medicine. |
