Specializing in nonsurgical
treatments of neck and back pain, F. Clifford Valentin, MD, is a board-certified
physiatrist who’s been part of the team at OrthoCincy Orthopaedics & Sports Medicine for nearly 20 years. Dr. Valentin practices at OrthoCincy’s Cincinnati office in Anderson, Eastgate & Kenwood.
For his undergraduate
studies, Dr. Valentin attended Xavier University in Cincinnati, where he
graduated cum laude with a Bachelor of Science in natural science. He then
attended West Virginia University School of Medicine in Morgantown. After
earning his medical degree, Dr. Valentin completed a physical medicine and
rehabilitation residency at the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor, and has
also received training in internal medicine from the Medical Center of Delaware
in Newark, Delaware.
In addition to nonsurgical
treatments of the spine, Dr. Valentin is also trained in electrodiagnostic
medicine, helping to treat and diagnose conditions affecting the neurologic and
neuromuscular systems. He’s a diplomate of the American Board of Physical
Medicine and Rehabilitation and member of the American Academy of Physical
Medicine and Rehabilitation.
Dr. Valentin has a long
history with the field of medicine. In addition to his wife, who is a
developmental pediatrician, Dr. Valentin is a third-generation doctor, making
medicine a natural career choice.
