Dr. Matthew T. Hummel received his B.A. degree at Centre College and his Doctor of Medicine degree at the University of Kentucky. He completed his residency in orthopaedic surgery at the Greenville Hospital System in Greenville, SC and his fellowship in joint replacement at the University of Louisville.
Dr. Hummel is board-certified and specializes in total joint reconstruction and replacement, as well as general orthopaedics. Dr. Hummel is trained in MAKOplasty robotic-assisted surgery.
Cincinnati Magazine named Dr. Hummel a "Top Doctor" for 2015, 2016, 2017, and again in 2018.
He is assisted by Jennifer Colwell, APRN, Suzanne Fernbach, PA-C, and Zach Dedden, PA-C.
Dr. Hummel sees patients in the Edgewood and Florence offices.
