WATCH: Hand, Wrist, & Elbow Conditions in the Modern Musician – Educational Seminar
Robert Rhoad, MD, is a
board-certified orthopaedic surgeon who specializes in treating orthopaedic
conditions of the hand, wrist, and elbow. He sees patients at OrthoCincy's Cincinnati offices in Anderson and Kenwood.
After completing his
undergraduate degree at the University of Virginia, Dr. Rhoad earned his
medical degree from the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine in
Philadelphia, where he also completed his residency in orthopaedic surgery. He

numerous publications, abstracts, and national presentations regarding hand,
wrist, and elbow surgery, sports medicine, and care of professional tennis
athletes and musicians. He's also been honored repeatedly as a Top Doc by
Cincinnati Magazine. He spent 15 years as the Tournament Physician for the ATP
and WTA professional tennis players.
His musical background in
percussion, piano, and guitar provides Dr. Rhoad with a unique insight into the
intricacies of hand and upper extremity function. He is married with three sons
